Traci Medeiros-Bagan, LMFT leads an exploration of how systemic and institutionalized inequity shows up in clinical framework and practice and provides an alternative narrative where kink is held as not only a healthy manifestation of sexuality but as an avenue for healing. This event will take place on July 24th and 25th, 9AM – 11AM PST.
Learning Objectives:
1. Participants will gain the ability to critically analyze the negative effect of normativity for minoritized groups.
2. Participants will be able to define intersectionality and comfort with cultural difference, in order to move towards an actively anti-racist practice.
3. Participants will assess for personal bias and learn skills for integrating affirming care into their mental health services for minoritized groups.
4. Participants will be able to describe and practice an alternative mental health narrative of kink which centers it as a tool for healing.
Price is on a sliding scale: $150 for licensed professionals with CE’s and $75 for non/pre-licensed professionals
