Do you want things to be different, but struggle with finding the motivation to make changes? Do you have a support system that wants to support you, but they are struggling to understand what you need?

Wherever you are in your journey, together, we can explore what is contributing to feeling stuck and empower you to make the life changes you desire. My hope is to create a therapeutic relationship, in which clients feel seen, heard, and valued. I will provide a safe space where you can reflect on who you are, who you want to be, and how you show up in your relationships with others.

My therapeutic lens is client-centered,  trauma-informed, and strength-based. I have experience working in school based mental health and community mental health. Meeting clients where they are is a value I hold with high regard. My focuses include trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, exploring family systems and grief.

Let’s work towards increasing your confidence in making decisions to move toward the life you want-free of guilt and shame. Schedule an appointment today to begin moving forward in making the changes you would like to see in your life.

Trauma, like most things, exists on a spectrum. The key to overcoming it is to identify where you are on that spectrum and identify your individual challenges to happiness. That’s where I come in.

In my time as an integrative hospital therapist, I learned just how essential a holistic response is to facilitating proper healing. My practice takes into account the specific details of your personhood, and will progress at the pace that works best for you – one step, one breath at a time.

In therapy, my hope is to help turn judgement into curiosity, and to convert one’s inner critic into one’s most nurturing confidant. Together we can develop strategies to face anxiety and depression with self-assurance.

Take the first step. Call or email to schedule a consultation.

Theresa Soltzberg

I am honored to support your healing and growth in the next phase of your personal development. No matter where you are in your life journey and what challenges have brought you to therapy, I believe that you have the inner resources and wisdom to move forward and realize your goals and potential. I am here to provide a safe and nurturing place for you to explore your internal world, relationships and whole self as you move forward.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee currently completing the Master of Arts in Psychology – Holistic program at JFK University. I chose this program because I believe that growth depends on bringing together all aspects of who we are. We carry past wounds in our bodies and in the younger parts of ourselves that often did not have the words yet to make sense of our story. We can heal these parts of ourselves by paying attention to and accepting ourselves exactly where we are, and by using our creativity, imagination and higher selves to help navigate our inner world and change our everyday lives.

I offer a variety of tools and approaches based on what works for you and what fits you best. Some of the tools I’ve learned and have benefitted from personally include Hakomi, Internal Family Systems, narrative and writing, mindfulness, developmental trauma and attachment informed therapy, expressive arts therapy, movement, and ecopsychology. I work mainly with adults and young adults in life transition, bringing to my work over 20 years of experience in the field of corporate adult learning and development.

Congratulations on taking this next important step and may your journey bring you everything you need and want from life.

Susan Regan

I have been a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist since 1994 and for over 25 years, I have had a clinical practice and served hundreds of couples and individuals of all ages, and from many different backgrounds, lifestyles, cultures. I have led groups that have helped people find the balance between their own fulfillment and connection to each other.

As a trained mediator, I also provide co-parenting counseling and mediation with couples and parents, who are in the process of separating. I facilitate groups in both Berkeley and San Francisco in the areas of separation and divorce and couples, family and relationship therapy.

Understanding that people are often blocked in life, due to trauma, I also help these clients by using the EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) technique, and other somatic-based therapies. In addition, I have in-depth training in Narrative, Family Systems, Attachment-Based Therapy and Enneagram.

Enneagram tests are an excellent way to discover more of what your personality type does and how you connect with another person’s strengths and weaknesses whether it be work, friendships, home, or intimate relationships.

I specialize in many creative methods to work with a variety of clients.
