About

Do you feel hurt and betrayed by someone who was supposed to love you? If your current relationship is causing you pain, you are in the right place. Together, you and I  can move beyond fear to address what’s been keeping you from opening the door to life. As a team, we can equip you to confidently reclaim your happiness.

My use of evidence-based tools and techniques encourage deeper, faster, and longer-lasting healing than with talk alone. Schedule an appointment today. It’s time for you to get unstuck, feel stronger, and live life in control.

Karla Amanda Brown, MA, LMFT is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant-in-Training. In addition to providing counseling to faculty and staff at Stanford University, she is the CEO & Founder of Soul Centric Counseling and Healing Center, which trains licensed and pre-licensed clinicians to serve people with a diverse range of identities and trauma histories. In addition to helping people heal individually, Karla uses group therapy to reduce shame, hopelessness and the impact of racialized trauma in her clients. Her approach increases clarity and compassion, and fosters a sense of belonging in participants.
